Not looking back and not lingering in the past is one thing, but shoving it out of mind entirely? He doesn't know if that works either. Who they are and where they came from is something important to most families, and it seems it certainly was for hers. To forget everything they did, all the things they achieved? That doesn't sit right with him.

"I... I think that sounds like a good idea." He says, and looks from her to the ofrenda. "Is there a set way to do it? A way to tell stories, or something like that?"
